Storm Audio Visual is the New Zealand and Australian distributor for Acoustic Energy. Acoustic Energy Limited was founded in 1987 in the Cirencester in the U.K. Originally designed for the professional audio market, its first AE1 loudspeaker has become a hi-fi classic. It offered a largely neutral sound, coupled with high power handling and linearity acquiring a global reputation with musicians, recording artists and studio engineers alike.
The AE1 won numerous awards, and at the same time the hi-fi market rapidly became an integral part of Acoustic Energy's growth. Today, Acoustic Energy distributes to over 50 export markets and has expanded its core speaker business to include hi-fi and multi-channel home theatre products.
Acoustic Energy's product range includes traditional bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, along with custom-install in-wall and in-ceiling as well as outdoor speakers.
