Solo Neo is the latest evolution of Arcam's award winning Solo all-in-one music system. Bringing wireless and wired network audio streaming to the system, Solo Neo can stream numerous audio formats via wired or wireless ethernet from NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives and other network storage devices. Neo also features a USB connection for memory sticks or hard drives to extend its local audio capabilities too.
Like its siblings in the Solo range, the Solo Neo is a stunning fusion of Arcam’s award-winning technology and clean, contemporary good looks, letting you enjoy Arcam’s renowned sound quality in one sleek, easy-to-use system.
In addition to its new wireless and wired network capabilities, the Arcam Solo Neo has a pre-amplifier output for use with additional power amplifiers and a Zone 2 output with independent volume control. There is also compatibility and control of your iPod/iPhone is via the optional dedicated irDock interface. Of course it also features the CD player, a DAB digital radio and a high quality FM tuner.
Featuring a 50W per channel output and Wolfson 24bit DAC, the Solo Neo delivers real power with finesse, loud enough for parties yet sensitive enough for more complex music. The unit is compatible with MP3, AAC, WMA and FLAC audio files and is controllable by the new CR50 remote control.
Solo can also drive most other brands of high-fidelity loudspeakers more effectively than some separate components. The computer control interface of Solo enables it to be a key component of a multi-room system.
